Construction/ Transport/ Financial Services Exempted Micro-Enterprise (EME)/ Start-up

Construction/ Transport/ Financial Services Enterprises are eligible for an exemption certificate if the entity has an annual turnover of Contractors: R10 million, Built Environmental Professionals: R1.6 million or less, or is currently in its first year of operation.

Joint Venture (JV)/ Consortium BEE Certificate

Any 2 or more enterprise with no turnover limit in all industires can combine their aggregate BBBEE Scorecard to form one and to obtain 1 BEE Certificate for tender purposes.

Large Enterprise (GENERIC)/ Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE)

Large enterprises with annual turnover of R50 million and above are required to fully comply with all five elements of the Generic BBBEE Scorecard. An enterprise with annual turnover of between R10 million and R50 million are rated based all five elements of the QSE BBBEE Scorecard.
